Course Introduction

This course forms an industry interface between rigorous laboratory analysis, toxicology, and quantitative risk assessment; students become proficient in the analysis of environmental media, and utilise the resulting data in assessing risk.

Communication and co'operation skills; environmental inorganic analysis; diagnostic and management tools; environmental organic analysis; contaminated land case study; water quality, diagnosis and management; South Florida watershed case study; air pollution, monitoring, impacts and management; Royal Holloway campus air quality case study; waste management and utilisation; independent research project.

Course Additional Entry

Relevant good Honours degree. IELTS 6.5 overall and a minimum of 5.5 in all other subscores.
