Course Introduction

We offer students the opportunity to work in dedicated, high'specification studios, supported by established tutors with practices in illustration, visual communication, film and fine art. Based at the recently refurbished Harrow Campus ' home to the Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design ' you will work alongside students from film, photography, music, fashion and journalism, in a unique hothouse of creative opportunity. The course reflects the fast'changing opportunities in art, design and new media; our exceptional team of artists teaching theory and practice create an environment in which you can develop your awareness of the diversity of media and practices available in contemporary mixed media fine art. You will develop an individual practice at a very high level within the arena of contemporary fine art mediums, and be able to relate this practice to relevant critical frameworks (contemporary and historical).

Course Modules

Modules may include: Painting; photography; printmaking; sculpture; site specific; video and audio; visual installation; web'based practice.
