The programme aims to provide a grounding in basic practical and academic skills necessary for the contemporary practice of special care dentistry, identifying key concepts which underlie successful patient treatment, together with an understanding of the evidence base for special care dentistry and the ability to critically access scientific literature.
Core modules: applied biology, systemic disease and behavioural sciences; ethics, governance and public health policy in special needs dentistry.
Course Additional Entry
All applicants must normally hold an approved dental qualification and have a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience post'qualification.
