This course enables students to top up their Diploma in Management (Health and Social Care) (or other equivalent) to a full Master's qualification; it consists of 2 modules, research methods and dissertation; the dissertation normally focuses on an aspect of health and social care students are involved in; students may need to analyse data, and they develop the skills for this in research methods.
Modules include: managing resources; role development; strategic choices; managing quality; relationship management; the policy environment; research methods; dissertation.
Course Additional Entry
Applicants need to be working in an appropriate health/social care environment, with management responsibility. This is manadatory in order for applicants to achieve the learning outcomes of the modules and the course. Applicants also need to hold an Honours degree (2.2 or higher). International students need to meet our English language requirement at either IELTS at 7.0 or above, and a minimum of 7.0 for each of the 4 individual components.
