Course Introduction

This course is for students wishing to gain a thorough understanding of how organisations and societies use and exploit new information and communication technologies (ICT).

Course Modules

Modules include: Principles of sociology; introduction to information systems; introduction to business and management; introduction to programming; statistics 1 (half unit); organisation theory: an interdisciplinary approach; information systems development and management; information and communication technologies: Principles and perspectives; software engineering: Theory and application; research project in information systems.
