Health and safety 

You can get treatment from the UK's National Health Service (NHS) if your course is longer than 6 months. You will not have to pay for hospital treatment. Depending on your income, you may have to pay for dental treatment and prescribed medicines.

Student safety in London

As with any unfamiliar city, it is important to ensure you are aware of the basic safety issues. Much of the advice is common sense, but you should familiarise yourself with the basic advice given by the British Council
